Bio

Jay Taylor, a.k.a Scribblejay, graduated in 2005 with a BA(hons) Illustration degree from the University of Central Lancashire. He has since gone on to work internationally for clients in editorial, design and advertising, publishing, music and new media. Once described by Communication Arts as a, 'Social Commentator', Jay's work takes a light hearted view of the strange, questionable world we find ourselves in. A traditionalist at heart, Jay's style plays on life's little imperfections with the majority of work being made by hand, with only simple composition and colour changes being altered in the latter stages by computer. To coincide with this, there is always a strong conceptual approach underlining all of Jay Taylor's work.
